Dinorwic Ontario Muskie Fishing:

Pine Sunset Lodge is located near the village of Dinorwic, between Dryden and Ignace, Ontario, and on the famous Dinorwic Lake. They have outstanding fishing for Muskie as well as other ganefish. Dinorwic Lake is attached to Wabigoon Lake via the Wabigoon River. Muskie over 50 inches are caught by guests each year. There is a large number of Muskie in the 32 to 47-inch rane and if you specifically target Muskie you should catch between 3 and 6 per day. They have clean housekeeping cottages, which range in size to accommodate groups of 2 to 16 people. They also have a campgrounds for both RVs and tents.

  



Merkel's Camp is located between Dryden and Dinorwic Ontario and on the north shore of Wabigoon Lake with close access to Dinorwic Lake. Both of these lakes are considered among the best fishing Muskie fishing lakes in Ontario with unbelievable Muskie fishing. Godd numbers of Muskie as well as monster trophy Muskie are available. Muskie fishing is non stop and fantastic from the day Muskie Season opens to the day Muskie Season ends. They have 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom lakefront housekeeping cottages on Wabigoon Lake as well as an outpost camp on Little Basket Lake. They also have excellent fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Crappie.

Northumbrian Resort offers a great variety of accommodations as well as great Musky fishing. They have their main lodge strategically located where Pelican Lake and Abram Lake join so guests can fish both lakes for Musky. You will also have water access to Minnitaki Lake and Lac Seul. They have fully equipped lakefront housekeeping cottages that range from two to five bedrooms. They also have a fly-in outpost camp and boat-to outpost camps with great Musky fishing. Musky are most common in the 35" to 45" range but in this water system there are many Musky exceeding 50" that get caught and released. The thicker-girth fish can exceed forty pounds. As all Musky hunters know; how many Musky you catch in a day is dependant on the stability of the weather. This water system is considered one of the top Musky fishing destinations in Ontario. The closest settlement is Sioux Lookout, Ontario. They also offer fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Whitefish.
